6. PAYMENT

The prices displayed are valid only for Italy and include VAT. Orders coming from outside Italy may incur an increase. 

Payment can be made online using PAYPAL or by advance bank transfer. With the PAYPAL payment system, information is protected using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) with an encryption key length of 128 bits, the maximum length available on the market.

If you do not have a PayPal account, you can pay with credit cards by choosing PayPal as your payment method and proceed by clicking on 'pay by card'.

Those obliged to request an invoice must request it at the time of ordering, communicating the VAT number and the invoicing data.

Minimum order to request an invoice is 150 euros + VAT.

7. DELIVERY TIME

Delivery time are intended as delivery times to the carrier/express courier. In the case of surfboards, SUPs or kites, the counting of working days (5 in a week) will start from the day on which the payment credit is received and/or all the requested customizations are defined.

8. SHIPPING

We ship throughout Europe (including islands) and the shipment is made via express courier directly to the address indicated by the customer at the time of ordering. Each shipment is accompanied by the relevant tax receipt or, if requested at the time of purchase, an accompanying invoice.

  If the products are available, delivery to the carrier/express courier for shipment will take place within 1-2 working days from the payment credit date. If the product is not available, or must be produced in the Twinsbros factory, delivery to the carrier/courier express for shipping will take place within 1-2 working days from the end of production date or from the payment credit date if subsequent to production.

  The subsequent delivery times of national shipments by the carrier/express courier are between 24/48 hours from departure from our warehouse for Italy. For Europe, delivery times vary from destination to destination.

  In any case, given that the delivery times indicated may vary depending on the carrier/express courier, Twinsbros Surfboards does not guarantee the absence of delays and will not be responsible for any inefficiencies in delivery.

  The customer undertakes to verify at the time of delivery the exact number of packages received and to check their external appearance, reporting, immediately upon delivery, the presence of external anomalies that may preclude the integrity of the content, such as, for example, not limited to, signs of wear, creases in the cardboard, holes, damaged packaging tapes, openings and more.

  In the event of an incorrect number of packages or the presence of damage to the packaging, the customer undertakes to sign the courier's waybill with the so-called "reserve clause" by affixing the wording SPECIFIC CONTROL RESERVE AND EXACTLY INDICATING THE TYPE OF ANOMALY FOUND with one of the following formulas, such as by way of example and not limited to: "damaged package, package with folds, open package, dented package, package wet, neck with BRT tape, neck destroyed, neck crushed, neck broken etc.”

  We inform you and specify that at the time of delivery it is still necessary to sign your signature and also the words: "RESERVATION OF CONTROL OF MATERIAL AND QUANTITY" as pursuant to art. 1698 c.c. unreserved receipt of the transported items will prevent the customer/recipient from reporting damage to the transported items.

  In the event that the courier, for any reason, does not provide the possibility of signing with Reserve of Control specifying the extent of the damage, the Customer is required to refuse the goods and immediately notify Twinsbros Surfboards.

Any dispute relating to any damage or disservice must be communicated to Twinsbros Surfboards no later than 24 hours from the date of delivery of the goods.

If the recipient does not comply and does not adhere to the obligations and related indications contained in the above clauses, he will lose his right of withdrawal.

9. REQUESTS FOR REFUND/REPLACEMENT FOR GOODS DAMAGED BY THE COURIER

As regards the shipment of surfboards, SUPs, kites etc., despite our care in packing adequate packaging, given their extreme fragility, the integrity of the packages must be checked at the time of delivery as specified in the terms. and according to the obligations of the previous ART 8.

As already specified, in the event of damage to the packaging, the shipment must be accepted with a SPECIFIC CONTROL RESERVE, indicating exactly the type of anomaly found, making sure that the courier notes this reserve on his/her handheld device or on the delivery note. In case of non-compliance with this requirement it will not be possible to open the procedure for requesting reimbursement of damages against the courier and the goods cannot be refunded or replaced by Twinsbros Surfboards which hereby declines any responsibility for any damage occurring.

In the event that the courier, for any reason, does not provide the possibility of signing with Reserve of Control, specifying the extent of the damage, the Customer is required to refuse the goods by immediately notifying Twinsbros Surfboards.

In the event of damage to the goods by the courier, to request the opening of a refund or replacement procedure, the customer must send an email to info@twinsbros.net no later than 24 hours from the time of delivery of the same. attaching the following documentation and indicating the date, time, place and recipient or his delegate who received the goods:

- description of the damage

- photo or copy of the signed waybill subject to specific control

- photo of the packaging as it arrived before being opened where the labels and barcodes are visible.

- photos of the damage on the board or on the damaged item

- panoramic photo of the damaged table or item next to the original packaging (possibly where you can see the labels attached), so as to clearly see that the damage to the packaging corresponds to the damage present on the board or article.

The Twinsbros Surfboards team, once verified all the documentation provided by the customer according to the methods and times expected, will give instructions to the customer on how to proceed.

The refusal expressed at the time of delivery is not equivalent to exercising the so-called right of withdrawal (right which allows, within 14 days of delivery, to express your second thoughts on the purchase, without having to justify the reasons). In fact, for the purposes of the right of withdrawal it will be necessary to respect the formalities provided for by the terms of these articles.

 

ART 10. ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR SPECIAL LOCATIONS

Additional costs may be charged for shipments to particular locations. These costs are not linked to shipping costs. If these costs are not automatically calculated, Twinsbros Surfboards staff reserves the right to add such costs to the order total by notifying the customer before shipping the order.

ART 11. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

In the event that, due to problems related to the malfunctioning of the online procedure, errors are found in the calculation of the totals to be paid in the order sent, the Twinsbros Surfboards staff reserves the right to cancel this order by promptly notifying the customer and undertaking to make a full refund.

ART 12. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Customer, pursuant to Legislative Decree 22/5/99 N°185, has the right to withdraw from the purchase and proceed with returning the goods within 14 days of receiving them. A necessary condition for exercising the right of withdrawal is the substantial integrity of the product. The customer/consumer is required to keep the original package and packaging perfectly intact, as well as all the accessories supplied at the time of sale. To exercise the right of withdrawal the customer must simply:

- send a written notice via email to: info@twinsbros.net. This communication must specify his wish to withdraw from the purchase and the product or products for which he intends to exercise the right of withdrawal.

- return the goods intact and duly repackaged in the original packaging at his own expense to the address: Twinsbros Surfboards: Via Fabio Filzi 19 int 4, 57122 Livorno.

Once your return has been inspected and accepted by our quality control team, your refund will be issued.

The right of withdrawal is excluded for surfboards, kites, SUPs pursuant to the law and this contract as these products are intended to be customized according to the customer's specifications.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to online purchases made on the site by companies or freelancers.

ART 13. PROTECTION OF MINORS

Minors under 18 years of age are not authorized, unless under the supervision of an adult family member, to place orders via the online order form.

ART 14. COUPONS

Discount vouchers have an expiry date printed on them and can be used in one go. Discount vouchers cannot be combined and can cover a maximum of 20% of the expenditure made. In the event that the total order placed does not allow full use of the voucher, it will no longer be valid for subsequent orders.
