Federico Melis, born in Cagliari, Sardinia, in 2007, started surfing thanks to the passion transmitted by his father, one of the pioneers of surfing in Sardinia, Gigi Melis from Pula.
Current Italian U18 vice-champion and third place in the 2024 open category, he already has good experience in international WSL competitions, and in 2024, he had the opportunity to represent Italy at the European Junior team championship.
